The approximately 130 hectares of vineyards are situated on premium sites along the river Mosel and its tributaries the Ruwer and the Saar. The main grape variety is Riesling, covering 87% of the total wine-growing area.

The fruity, elegant Riesling wines from the steep slopes of the three river valleys are individually fermented in a single wine cellar in Trier.
