The impressive 20,000 m² cellar of the Episcopal wine estates is located underneath the city centre of Trier stretching out from the Seminary towards the Constantine Basilica. In 750 wooden barrels matures the juice or must from the sites of the Seminary, the High Cathedral, the Convent and the Friedrich-Wilhelm Grammar school. In the more than 400 years old vaulted cellar the wines can mature in the necessary tranquility that’s so important for the winemaking process as well as a constant temperature and humidity level.

Visiting the cellar is a fantastic experience. For groups between 15 and 120 people we offer individual wine tastings and a guided tour which can include a light buffet meal.
