Terms and Conditions

It’s quick and easy to order your wines and you will usually receive them within 2 or 3 working days.

If you already have an account with us you just need to let us know your account number when ordering.

All orders will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
  1. Our offer

    The wines listed in the price list are available as long as stocks last. If wines are sold out we will endeavour to supply wines of equivalent quality and similar price unless this has been expressively declined.
  2. Price
    Our prices are inclusive of glass and packaging as well as VAT and Sekt duty (duty on sparkling wine) ex cellars in Trier.
  3. Delivery
    Free delivery to any address within Germany if your order is a minimum of 12 bottles (0,75l).
  4. Complaints and warranty
    Notification of defects must be made immediately. When reporting transport damage or theft please send suitable evidence from the shipping company or post. Our packaging is approved by transport and shipping companies so that a potential refund is warranted.

    Wine crystals are the result of natural ageing and no reason for a claim.
  5. Cancellations
    Unwanted good can be returned within 2 weeks from the date of receipt. Cancellation can be declared by letter, fax, phone or e-mail. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to cancel or return the goods within the 2 week period. The return will be at our expense. All goods must be returned in their original condition.

    This cancellation clause applies to consumers only and does not apply to organisations or individuals who order goods for professional use.
  6. Data Protection
    We only store address and order information for our internal use and in accordance with the German Data Protection Act.
  7. Payment
    All payments shall be made on receipt of invoice. All items remain the property of Bischöfliche Weingüter until payment has been received in full.
  8. Proper law
    The sales contract and all matters arising out of it shall be construed and governed according to German law. Place of fulfilment is Trier.
